Replacement brake pads for Avid BB7.
We stock this pad because it is what was used in all Organic Transit ELFs, though it fits any BB7 caliper.
Scintered steel pads are the standard pads that normally come with the brake caliper when new. They have the best stopping power in wet weather. If you want the resin-type "organic" brake pads instead, which are optimized to function more smooth and quietly, they are listed here. We at Sol Mobil prefer the quiet (= not super squeaky) pads, but offer both in case some people want to stick with the brake pad that originally came on their ELF. We think the quiet pads are better overall, smoother and quieter. They just lose a little bit of performance in wet weather.
These are official replacement pads from Avid - but Avid is owned by SRAM now, so that's who makes the pads.
