This motor works well as a replacement/upgrade in the ELF solar e-bike. It fits in ELFs that originally had the TDCM direct drive motor (made in ~2015-2019). If your ELF originally had the geared MAC motor (model years 2013-2015), we recommend this motor instead.
Pair with the Baserunner L10 or Phaserunner motor controller for optimal results.
"Nine Continent Rear Hub Motor with larger 212mm rotor diameter for higher torque and better copper fill than normal 205mm DD hub motors. 27mm wide stator with 0.35mm laminations for reduced rolling drag and side cable exit for better protection and torque arm installation. Uses modern cassette freehub system with 135mm axle spacing and proper disk rotor alignment and caliper clearance for standard bike fit compatibility. Terminated with new L10 waterproof high power motor connector and includes 10K NTC thermistor for motor temperature sensing and thermal rollback, plus sealed side plates with Statorade injection port via disk rotor hole.
